well im not too worried about the last post link as i know whats causing it...i just need to find a workaround to fix it (plus it doesnt hamper posting on the site in any major way)

can you give me more details about the posting problem. As i said, im not having this problem at all so its difficult for me to resolve it until i hear whats happening exactly

I'm having a little issue with posts not being marked as read. It seems as though I have to go through every post again to get them to not be in bolder type-face (aka new post/unread). It's not a huge deal, just something a little different. Thanks!

thats something im aware of

basically, the forum used to use cookies to determine what threads etc had been used. The new software gives you the option of storing that information in the database. Apparently, its better and is reccomended however so far im not so sure as im experiencing the same problems as you. Im gonna leave it a few more days and see if it works (ie. i dont know if the problem was me changing from cookie to automatic storing)
