Default SHARING PLAYER NOTES ON THE SITE SPECIFIC SUB FORUMS

The idea of this site is to help each other improve our play, learn about other players, and learn about ourselves, right?

In online poker>poker sites>???whatever site it is Wouldn't it be great have a sticky at each of the site sub-forums called SHARE PLAYER NOTES

If we had a sticky thread of that topic at each of the site sub-forums, we could share player notes with each other there. This could save someone lots of grief, could be very funny too.

Rules; not to be used to insult fellow players, but to share information and amuse. Funny too if you play by different handles, you could be reading about yourself and learn something weak (or strong) about your own game!

Because the subforums are site specific, we would all recognize the player alias's the note is about (if you play there regularly)

I think this could be a very popular and amusing thread!

The only problem about this is it takes away the entire spirit of figuring out your opponents play for yourself, and is, in fact, cheating. Think about it, stepping to a table knowing how everyone plays, despite not playing a single hand with them - you would hold a huge (i.e., unfair) advantage.

I would have to say that I do note players on the sites that allow it.....however over 95% of the notes I have are far from postable (not a word according to MSW) on a forum, or anywhere for that matter.......Trust me I have a few that are, "good player" "nice bloke" "heads up with him"....but more often than not they consist of "outdrawing ****"" " complete an utter ***hole"....etc....etc....etc.......No good to anybody really bar me.....lmao

In fact you should see the note I have on Mars......?????

LMAO....see I came here str8 after reading your reply in the Razz post I made.....I just knew you would feel the need to reply.

Maybe now is a good time to use my new super "leader" powers and ban your raggatey azz....lmao

Although I couldn't as your posts are far funnier than any I could write my friend!

And I don't know how to anyway....I have a habit of deleting posts for no reason.....so I really don't think they would trust me with the real power tools.

Getting back on track -

This is something myself and Ben discussed over beer one night - It is something that would be good to exploit.

Mars - you can look up numerous sites and know more about your opponent before you play a card with them. Yes I think it may come under cheating as possibly be colluding??

I think it is something to consider - if you see your mate playing in a game and sitting beside him is a guy you play regular - do you tell him your notes etc... as that is the same thing.

how practical would it be? - you would have to look through 100 posts to find your player by that time you have moved tables

yes someone could look after it and manage it in one post keep it in alphabetical order - who has time to do that??? it would be a full time job in itself for one site never mind them all!!!

So a good idea but just not one we could do (or could we??).
