Question Blackjack subforum?

I play both blackjack and TH online. I absolutely love this forum, yet there are no forums like it for blackjack. There are some but they are very weak and fairly small. I was wondering if you guys would consider adding a blackjack section for players who enjoy both. Just a suggestion tho!

Thanks guys and keep up the good work!

you can post any blackjack threads in the other poker games room. If we start to see a lot of blackjack related threads then we could add a subforum for the discussions

Simply my input on the idea:

While a number of poker players may also enjoy the occasional game of blackjack, strategy for the most part is fairly standard, there isn't too much room for variation while still winning. There is no human element, which is what separates poker from all other casino games. While the idea of this sub-forum seems good at first glance, I don't believe it would have anything other than "I was deal KT, dealer shows Q, i stay, and he flips over an ace! This game is so %*$#ing rigged!"

Keep the ideas coming tho

Here's some advice, don;t play Blackjack online, it is nowhere near the same as live. They shuffle every hand online, never live.

I always wondered how can anyone make money consistently at Blackjack on-line. In the olden days live Blackjack was an artform with guys counting cards and playing 'hot" and "cold" tables approprietly. Those guys were brilliant. This may be a loaded question, but is there any way to have a positive bankroll from online Blackjack?

Absolutely, however it is only realistically possible by using/chasing bonuses. Since the house only has a .05% advantage when using basic strategy and standard rules, you can deposit $100 and have a casino match your $100. You could very easily overcome the house advantage and make money playing blackjack with the bonus. If you’re disciplined; you’re virtually guaranteed to make money, usually around $30-40/hr for the better bonuses. This logic only applies to non-sticky bonuses however.

Hope this helps!

Good answer, I can understand that logic. I've made a ton of money bonus whoring the NL tables.
