Hi everyone, I just started playing holdem 2 mnths ago. And addicted allready. Can't get enough. I came across forums and thought cool more freerolls. Then i saw that you had to have 25 post to enter. I'm not very good at putting my thoughts and inputs into words. But i'll do anything to be able to play. Need another fix!! Just wanted to think you for what your doing and having me as a new member. I'm looking forward to playing with you guys.

It is goot to be a new member. Thanks for the great site. It is always nice to have people to discuss strategy etc. Expecially people who you dont play regularly with.

Do not penalize people from entering your freerolls because they do not have an appropriate amount of posts listed, instead be happy they know and use your site at all...when you do something like putting on a "FREEROLL"...remember the terminology...."FREE".
If you play silly games to promote your forums it is my belief you take away from what you are trying to achieve...which is to get people talking about poker...not ways and means to get silly passwords.
In today's world we are constantly bombarded by companies and advertisements of supposedly free stuff only to find in the end there is always a catch involved , would'nt it be nice if free meant free....for a change!

the point of the freeroll is to attract members to 'use' and contribute to the site. fonz had the first freeroll as a 'free for all' and it turned out to be a slight joke in the sense that any 2 cards win. this is a site dedicated to educatiing people in poker through discussion, which can now be translated in these freeroll tournaments. the fact we have asked for a minimum amount of posts is to reward the people who have contributed to the site.

you say "FREEROLL"...remember the terminology...."FREE". you have to remember a lot of the poker sites out there who are turning over a fortune actually require you to have paid rake to them in order to qualify for their "freerolls", i think the fact that 25 preferably quality posts in order to enter in to 3 $100 freerolls isn't much to ask since this is a totally non profit making site and all funding is put up by fonz personally.

I agree Ford the post requirement is not to much of a req. to play in the freerolls. I see it like this: these freerolls are a gift from Fonz. to people who are active participants of this forum not rights thats any1 who just signs up should be entilted to, when it comes down to it we, w/ the exception of few people perhaps, are all strangers and Fonz is putting up his cash in the spirit of competition and promotion of this forum, so we owe it 2 him to make serious posts and to thank Fonz. 4 the free chance at some $ and MTT experience. Thats something every one needs and wants lets be honest. I've played Multy Table Tournys for years and I still want to get better. The only way to truly improve is to play. Besides every body wants a shot to win $.

Thanks Fonz. !!!!!!! WillNChips

I am a newbie and have been playing internet poker for the past 8 months. Ive found it to be more difficult than live play. I would consider myself an average player and thats why I sought out this site to improve my play with tips and advice from fellow players.

I understand where you are coming from and i do agree with you on some of the things you have said, i agree the point of the freeroll is to attract members to use and contribute to the site and i think offering them will do just that.
Please understand that my post was not meant to attack or harm this site or any of it's members, it is a forum open for discussion and the topic hopefully in the future will lean more to poker then " poor quality add-on posts that only serve to beef up postage until the #25 is reached".
I for one look foreward to this forum and could'nt be happier to be a new member of this site, i too am trying to get better and hopefully talking about the game i love with people on this site will help me do that. However i will not agree when it comes to the 25 posts required, that is my opinion and hopefully it will be accepted in the spirit of healthy discussion....i too would love to make the freerolls, but i will not sell out to do it....i will post on here when i have something to ADD........not ADD-ON....thanks for reading this.

sincerely Brian1803

no offense taken whatsoever Brian
your more than welcome to your opinion and i appreciate your feedback

i do think perhaps youd think a little differently if you had particpated in last weeks freeroll - there were hundreds of people who signed up to get the password and didnt post even once - then hundreds of players didnt turn up. This rule is to reduce that - as you say though you agree with the rule and not the level of posts that are required which is fair enough

hmmm, brian has a good point but i think 25 is the perfect amount to stop all of the ppl who just sign up just to get in the Freeroll, that is no fair to all the Posters
