I have been in contact with Mike, the former owner of thepokerpost.com for a few weeks. We finally tied up the merger today.
Mike didnt have time to take the forums in the direction he wanted so i hope that this suits everyone.
All member details, threads, posts have all been moved to
www.texasholdemforums.com . Some threads/posts have been moved to a hidden forum as they are not suited to this site - for example announcements regarding pokerpost having a new logo etc.
Texas Hold Em Members
Hope you can join me in welcoming all the new members to the site.
The Poker Post Members
You may notice that the forum rooms are different from the poker post. We will be adding new rooms soon as and when required but for now, im sure youll find your way around the site no problem. Ive did my best to move threads to their related rooms.
One thing we dont tolerate here is spam - no spam at all is tolerated. Please read our
forum rules for more details. Spamming adds nothing to the forum and takes away potential revenue from the site - revenue which is passed onto members.
We've been online since about April 2004 although unfortunately the database was
accidentally deleted. We are coming back bigger and better though.
I hope that all pokerpost members can make texasholdemforums their new home (cK, mike, zstratt, n1vek & texaswalker - i would be more than happy for you to keep staffing positions here if you have time to be regular posters)
Were trying to give back what we can to members here. We have recently started a new monthly competition. Check out the details for our
January 2005 competition - A prize of $50 will be given to the best post in january. With only 2 weeks left in the month, this gives you all a good chance of winning.
In our February 2005 competition we will be giving away 3 or 4 dealer buttons from
www.dealerbuttons.com
When we start getting a regular income from site sponsors we will be holding regular freerolls exclusively for members.
The thepokerpost.com domain will point toward here in the next few days but it may be worthwile bookmarking
www.texasholdemforums.com in the meantime.
If you have any suggestions on how to improve the site or have a good idea for a prize for our monthly competition please let us know
cheers,
Kevin Muldoon aka fonzerelli_79
