Holdem Kid, I agree that thirty posts isn't much. Perhaps, newbies should be allowed Pws for a reasonable amont of time, enough to post thirty times. Then if the quota isn't met, that member could be cut off and told to post as mandated by THF.

Alli, I also agree with everything you said. I reiterate: my comments were said and meant in good faith, for Fonzerelli's consideration and the well being of the forum.

Matho, what you said may be true, however, it sure is the easy way out. If I hadn't cared for THF, I most certainly would not have made those comments.

I'll check in with THF periodically, post a couple of times, and when I hit the magic thirty I'll look forward to playing at your tables.

I was refraining from commenting on your original post and as it happens the replies you received were far better than anything I could reply and made by some very switched on members......!!!

However this one I'm going to have to reply to and I really am going to try my best not to come across to anti.....

Dude u have been a member for 5 mins made very few posts and you have the gual to tell the owner how he should be running his/our forum.....if it wasn't so funny it would be boardering on quite sad and slightly pedantic....of course you are entitled to your opinion as we all are.....but how informed is your opinion.....you are way off the mark if you are comparing this forum to others you are a member of.....!!!

I'm not trying to be conceited but you will learn by far more from this poker forum than any other i have used or come across.....before you can change any system you have to first become a part of it....sad fact of life but unfortunately true....so lets get to know a bit about you and you a bit about this forum before you start passing judgement on what is right and wrong with it please.

IMO of course (Xtra )

Hey Sonny! Please lighten up!! I get the impression that you did not read my second post on this subject. It's the one just above yours. Therefore, I will cease to comment further. Might I suggest, though, that you enquire the meaning of the word "pedantic".

Here you go buddy:

pe·dan·tic Pronunciation (p-dntk)
adj.
Characterized by a narrow, often ostentatious concern for book learning and formal rules: a pedantic attention to details.

pe·danti·cal·ly adv.
Synonyms: pedantic, academic, bookish, donnish, scholastic
These adjectives mean marked by a narrow, often tiresome focus on or display of learning and especially its trivial aspects: a pedantic writing style; an academic insistence on precision; a bookish vocabulary; donnish refinement of speech; scholastic and excessively subtle reasoning.

In very loose terms....someone who is teacher like.....therefore people who oiften think they are better than other people through what they know etc.....!!!!!

Yea, it ain't hard to get 30 post. I'm doing it, but i have made alot of 1 line responses. And i have to be a member for like 2 weeks. By that time i should have around 200 post. I like to stay active, and hopefully one day i can be a freeroller.
