He's right. I've got 30 posts now too and I believe I've met all of the requirements to become a freeroll player but I am unable to view the page to apply. Says we don't have sufficient access. Same goes for the thread you just linked Scottishben.

Edit - Works now, I'm guessing it just takes some time for the system to recognize everything.

I've actually become active again with the new policies. I stopped playing in a lot of the tournaments because there where way to many freeloaders. I like to think that when we play in these buy-ins and freerolls that we are trying to improve our games not just trying to get lucky. There are plenty of freerolls for those type of players.

I think a requiremnt on post is great- you do become involved- but on sites that ask for at least 20 to begin is just to much. I can't ignore my kids and housework for that long lol

good luck e

I agree about posts- I don't know alot about poker so I do not have much to say but I enjoy reading the post. I also like to see familiar faces in the tournys- you get used to how someone plays and its not the crazy all in stuff like the giant freerolls.

I love the way their setting up the site so their is less people with quality players in them. If you take a little time to type up some posts you will be part of the league and be involved in the freeroll league and more. So I love the idea and I wish more poker forums would do the same thing.

My original thoughts were deadset against this idea of 30 posts, but I have taken the time to build them up over the past few weeks, and the one thing I have found that makes it a good idea is that you dont get the junk spam postings that are on other forums that have a 3 post per freeroll requirement.

Well done on a good system

Yeah the system makes it a bit more familly like i think, havent experienced any tabletalk yet but i think so atleast. It's easier to get in the money spot and everyone seem to know everyone when they play. Not like other forums with a five post requierment and a spam forum where you can post five in 1 min and then join the freeroll with 100 players in it and passwords charing, sucks.

This system seems fine and that you don't stop posting just because you have got 30 posts and you can join the freerolls is great. Cause you want to be an approved member and get a higher status

Even though I don't have enough posts yet (almost though), I agree with the posts rule. It weeds out the freeloaders that are only here to play free games, and the players that are actually serious about being part of the forum. If you're not into the forum you're playing for, there is no reason for you to be playing their games. Example: I was part of a forum for a little while until I realized everyone in the forum argued with everything I said, and kinda ganged up on me about a particular subject. I guess I am still signed up with them, but I don't visit their website any more, nor do I play in their games. It would be unethical for me to be a part of something I didn't feel is for me, and I think that making the posts shows that you are serious about wanting to be a member...Just my 2 cents
