Taint

Just wondering about this member.

Couple weeks ago in the Ap freeroll tourny our member taint took 10 and finished one out of the money. It was on the night of the superbowl, so i wasnt giving my full attention to the poker tourny considering I had plenty of money and no worries about making final table. So when i saw a bad hand i just folded automatically not paying attention to what going with other players. Just so happened that i folded my Sb to low stack in the tourny and taint who was sitting in 9th got very mad, and i understand why.

So it now leads to this, after taint was knocked out he post a very nice thread about me and how I colluded. There were some very harsh things said in this post and finshed it saying F-U to me. I posted back explaining what happened and what not and was sorry, but i also said that i was very sad to see him say some of things he said and i requested that the leaders look into this and that there should some kind of punishment. Well a leader posted saying that what i did was wrong but the language was not needed and left it at that. Then later the thread was deleted and there was no punishment. This made me so upset that I refused to come to the site for a week I felt ashamed that there no punishment.

So now im asking why was there no punishment. I just want an explaination. Why you decided to just delete it, I know FF is better then this and I feel that I deserve some kind of explaination.

i personally know this member, he knows that he acted like a complete jerk, and i spoke to him privately in person about the entire incident. i apologize for his actions, and he has not/will not act in that manner again. since i knew him personally, i guess you could say he got one more additional chance than deserved. i deleted the thread two weeks ago, because it was getting completely out of hand, and i wanted to put an end to it.

i am sorry that you felt ashamed that there was no punishment...i appreciate your concern (yes, i really do) however, that is not your responsibility. i took this as a personal issue that i was able to deal with away from the forum. you have to realize that we are all actual people beyond these screen names and posts, and i had the opportunity to explain to him in person that the language he used was completely inappropriate for this type of forum. you can call it preferential treatment if you wish, or you can call it giving someone a second chance. i handled it in a way that i felt suitable for the circumstances.

this is my explanation. again, i sincerely apologize for his actions. you are an important member of the forum, and i hope that you stay and are able to feel comfortable in this environment.
