Tournament Leaderboard--->WHITE

In addition to the blue-level tournament, we should give those who are quite there, all the newbies and poor gamblers out there a leaderboard system, so they have somethign to fight for. We can do a monthly leaderboard where we use the same system as the league:

Points = 10 * [sqrt(n)/sqrt(k)]
Where:
n is the number of entrants
k is the place of finish (k=1 for the first-place finisher, and so on)

Keep a thread open so everyone can see who the sharks are, and who's having a good month, maybe put $100 for the top 5 guys or something, maybe give the top 20 a freeroll, I dunno, just an idea. I think it would be cool to see the results of all the white level freerolls over the course of a month on a leaderboard to see whose killin it, and whose being eaten by the sharks.

this is something i personally cant commit any time to but feel free if you guys wanna monitor it

if it proves popular and all games are tracked then id have no problem with putting up a prize or something for the leaders

...as long as i could have access to all of the results, i would actually would have a good time with it...

if members get in the habit of posting results then this shouldnt be too difficult to maintain

would you want me to use only the members who cash, or a top 50, or what???...


another issue i just thought of, actually, this whole idea will not work unless we have the corresponding forum member names for each website we play at, and i doubt that will happen. so, in reality we might want to nix the whole idea...

I like the idea and here is my 2 cents if it's worth that. How would you compile all that informatin from all the different freerolls? Would it be for each site individually or all of them lumped together? Just that thought makes it a pile of work made simpler only by keeping each site seperate. A thought is making a thread, posting the top 50 for each freeroll and giving 50 to first and 1 to 50th and just totaling them up. Could the Fourm ask for each members nicknames for each site they play at to keep them straight? It would be tuff getting all the nicknames but it could be done if the player wanted to be included. Someone could put an email addy out there to submit your nicknames and what sites they are for. Like I said, it would be a ton of work but it could be done with some time. I would help whoever takes it on if they would like.

hey guys i know this would be a great thing to have, I would like to see who is at the top and see how much i need to improve to take the top spot. To help with the nicks on different sites, I know I started a thread asking members to tell us what nicks they use here and on the different sites, maybe you could sticky that in the intro sections and ask all members to post there. Or you could make another post asking for the list again?
