The FF League is coming

we've talked about it a while. We will be having a league. We will be using the same format as the league at THF (except only the top 30 players will be ranked and given points)

the league will be at pokerstars. We will set up 10 $50 freeroll games. At the end of the 10 week league (one game per week) we will be giving out $500 in prize money

everything is in place

i believe sundays are the best day to have it (not as many people working and so timezone problems arent as much of an issue)

ill run a poll for a week to see what time best suits everyone

please vote to give me an indication of what suits the most players

just a question or two fonz ....will these be available to everyone or just blue members? because we dont want to see cheaters crashing our tourneys again ruining it for everyone..

i think it should be for blue members or something, but dont start the league until there are enough blue members to compete...just a suggestion

Great news, I will look forward to playing this. I voted 2pm ET as that is 7pm GMT for me here and otherwise i would probably fall asleep whilst playing if later :P

i voted 6pm est as not too early for usa players/canada and not too late for UK players.

I would love to join in but don't know that I will make blue in a couple of weeks. I understand that there could be a ton of crashers and making it blue would save a lot though. I sure hope the league works and am looking forward to making it to blue. I have been trying not to just post small meaningless posts. Thanks for all the work Fonz!

Great things are happening. I voted for 6eastern. Unfortunately I work in a service industry that requires my attendance on Sunday. I know it should prob start at 2 or 3 eastern for the european players and someday in the future I may be off on sundays. Great idea though. Perhaps two brackets somehow with playoffs. I'm sorry I thought you were talking about a team league.

i picked sundays at 8pm, but here on the west coast that's about 5pm here, and that's a bit early for me, but i will join the league, but i hope we could have some later games for us west coasters. btw thanks fonz and staff for a great site

I can't wait for this to start. League competition is so much fun. I voted for 6 p.m. but I'm really open as far as times go on Sundays. 6 pp.m. just seems to be a good middle of the road time for all time zones.
