Default Starting to like this Stud thing

Well after not hardly playing this 7stud thing my whole life, I decided to give it a try to give holdem a break until my cards warmed up a little. Well last Friday finished 8th in a Stud tourney and then last night finished 3rd. So 2 tourneys and 2 solid finishes so now I gotta find out if it's begginer's luck or what. I gotta give it up to some fellow forum members who played a hell of a game last night: Xtra, lebron, and Drew. i got to chat and play with you fellas and yall played a nice game. Well hope to see yall on the tables, and now I am off to the stud...

I also love very much the game of stud. Seems like I can't win any Holdem tournaments anymore so I've been playing some stud and some Omaha H/L for the last couple of weeks. Too bad I couldn't make the freeroll tournament yesterday on PokerStars. I usually take part in these stud freerolls and end up, at least in the top 10%. Unfortunately, I always end up making one mistake taht cost me my whole game!

I too recently started playing stud - I convinced my friends at the poker game the other night to play a few rounds - it was a good change of pace. I like playing stud hi/lo on pokerstars, now if I can just convince them to play hi/lo. Sounds like all of you had a good time at the tables last night - wish I would have been there.

I've recently started playing stud again after a month or so break to concentrate on hold'em. I feel as though you run into fewer bad beats in stud, as many of the players have been playing poker longer and thus are more apt to fold when they should. And since bad beats have been plauging me in hold'em lately, stud has been my safe refuge.

Yeah good job tee you finished 3rd in stud,

at least you dont make a thread about finishing 3rd like Matro57 does,

Woohoo he came third in a 3 dollar buying lets all create a thread about it.

Anyways yes stud is a good game and requires more patience than other games and GOod job getting f3rd on one of your first tries bud.
