Re: Horrible at stud To use/adapt an example I've heard for Omaha, if you play a hand on the baises of just one or two cards, you are spotting your oppenents that advantage (your hand is 33% worse). You want three cards that work together.
Two pair, straights, and flushes are going to win the most hands, look for starting hands that will help you get there. i.e.e (6 6) A. can make two pair, but your second pair is weak, so you don't want to pay too much for this hand even though it is playable.
