I find that odds calculation just give you rough odds. If that is what you need fine. But to stake your bankroll on it.

It's up to you. Late night I got beaten in a hand in a ring game by a 2 5 offsuit. The player did not bet until the river , did not put them on 3 5s, beat my 2 pair.

What are you haveing success with? Build on that and keep going.

THF has an odds calculator which you can find here:

http://www.texasholdemforums.com/pok...calculator.php

If you mean an odds calculator like Holdem indicator or pokeroffice they work great. You immediately get to see your outs and your % to win. If you have trouble calculating them one of them is a must.

I haven't looked at many, but I've noticed two types, one is your hand against unseen hands, the other is your hand against one or more known hands. The former type is what you want in play, the other is ok for analysis after the cards are flipped. They really ought to do both in the one product, no doubt someone knows of such.

How much cash you need to buy or do you got to subscrib to get the pokeroffice or holdem indicator? Do poker sites let you use them? How do you get them to screen the hands being played?

Sounds interesting to me. Thank you in advance for any information.

Odd calcluators are very good for beginner players, they provide a good learning aid. I used to use them all the time. As time went by I relied less on their infomation and nowadays don't feel the need their assistance.

I dont find it neccesarry to use a odds calculator unless your new to poker because it's mostly instincts and common sense. IF you really need one no need to download one just got to nicehair.comb and its on the frontpage.

[Edit, Hi hookey91, I just changed the poker site you mentioned since like the THF it has it's own poker site listings.
I can see you're very busy in the forums tonight. Good to hear from you.

Some members get a bit annoyed if someone turbo posts to get their post count up. Still..if it's quality stuff, then it's all good]
