Default WSOP Thoughts

- Great to see Doyle Brunson doing so well. Especially nice to see him knock out Scott Fishman, who up to that point had not shown him the respect he should...IMHO. Once he got knocked out though, he was a class act. Good for Scott.
- Mixed feelings about seeing Hellmuth hit the road. It might have been nice to see such a character advance. At the same time, he seems to keep becoming more and more obnoxious, which makes it damn hard to root for him. There's just something a little sad about watching the familiar faces and long-time pros miss out.
- Cool to see the girl from Maxim hang around long enough to be in the money. Gives hope to people like.....welll....me.
- The timing of the WSOP is perfect. Just about the time I can hardly sit still waiting for the official NFL season to start, I get to watch this. Ahhhhh....

I have to say that the 2003 WSOP was better than the 2004 WSOP I think ESPN tried to get too fancy with it with such segments as the nuts, if they showed more poker I would have enjoyed it more
