Poker Sites Television Commercials

Lately on TV, I have seen more and more commercials for online poker sites, maily Party Poker, Full Tilt Poker, and PokerStars. Now I am not sure if people in the UK are recieving these same ones, which I would assume that they don't, but in the commercials, the sites are advertising themselves as "www.PokerStars.net" instead of a ".com" web address. Also, in the commercials they advertise that you can learn to play poker for free, and play free poker, and things of that sort. They do not say a word about playing for real money. Now I do not know the laws for playing with real money in online poker (in the US), but I am assuming that these sites are not allowed to advertise for real money poker. Has anyone else seen these and does anyone know the legal issues surrounding this topic?

They are not allowed to advertise gambling. So the .net sites are strictly play money, which allows them to advertise on TV. Of course, there hope is to get players to their site and then inform them they can play for real money on the .com site. At least I beleive that is the situation.
