i didnt know you guys were so crazy about kenny rogers.can you believe i once worked in a kenny rogers roasters.then i quit and a month later they closed down,guess i was invaluable as a mopboy.but i did once stand aboard his trailored boat aptly named the "gambler".but totally the gambler is a classic poker tune.another good one is "loser" by the grateful dead.download that,and "crazy game of poker" by OAR.

ive been to roasters in the phillipines and in kuluar lumpar - you dont get them in the uk

i didnt know the Kenny Rogers name was so universally marketable that they would use it to sell fried chicken to phillipinos.does anyone else see the humor in that?

not really
the phillipines has a huge american influence (the usa did used to occupy the phillipines after spain remember)

theres much more american based fast food restaurants than in the UK - and the phillpines have loads of huge shopping mega malls. Infact, the US have a base right in the heart of manilla - it was quite near a hotel i was staying in

the thing is - it doesnt matter if its mcdonalds, burker king (known as Hungry Jacks in australia) or pizza hut. The big companies have the cash to market themselves anywhere - outside of the usa i believe the most mcdonalds is in china

further proof that i need to get out more.i guess i was hoping that eastern countries would shun american enterprises like fast food.but hey people are people.

no ive been to shanghai and ive found the chinese to be very welcoming people and they did seem to have alot of mcdonalds but theirs arent usually as big as ours their mcdonalds (a common restaurant style in china) is usually as big as our starbucks...... kenny rogers....lol.....although i didint see any restaurants called chinese restaurants their just called "restaurants".... lol weird huh? well this is even weirder please no1 take offense to this but i ran into some people who knew some people who ate other people i was scared the whole rest of my trip because i didint want to be eaten by a cannibal....they really freakin exist man!!!.....creepy
