Several Pros chat online today

On ESPN.com today, there are going to be several pro's scheduled to chat. I usually read them and they can be helpful sometimes.

The lineup is as follows ( all times in EST):

1pm Phil Gordon
2pm Howard Lederer
2:30 Phil Hellmouth
3:30 Mike " just parolled" Matasow


I could care less about the last 2 but gordon and lederer should be good. The are on the right hand side of the homepage called "The Show". Just click on the chat of the person you want to see and you should be able to watch ( or even participate) the chat live. But this is IMPORTANT: If you are not an ESPN Insider ( paid subscription) you will only be able to watch the chat live. Once it is over, you must be an Insider to see the chat archives.

im watchign the phil gordon chat, kinda boring, bunch of dumb phil hellmuth questions, nothing real insiteful, if i do find anything worth while though ill let you know

the only interesting thing thus far is that he's going to be playing heads up matches on fulltilt at 145 eastern. He's been very PC with a lot of questions re: who is better player A or B

gordon's interview was rather bland, a lot of times people would ask a question, and he'd try to be funny. Lederer is up next, and i just shot in a question about annie duke, but howard didnt answer rather the main board moderator did, and said she'll be on to chat may 24th

yeah, they can be hit or miss sometimes......sometimes you just get people who ask dumb ass questions and yes, they are always politically correct. Sometimes though you can get some good information. Since I subscripe to Insider, I just wait and read the summaries so I can read what I want to and skip what I dont.......sometimes they give you some good dirt of certain players though.....worth it if you got nothing better to do.

lederer's interview is a lot better interview compared to gordon's. Dont want to copy and paste any of it, cuz its probably illegal, but later ill detail some of the key poitns

Did you see the part where he talks about the most he has won in poker? 9.3 million in one day? ARE YOU F#@*ING KIDDING ME???????? I probably would have quit that day....invested in long term bonds and lived off the interest. Say you get a 6% long term bond....that is 560k per year. 9.3 million.......crazy talk man.


I know this......EVERY SINGLE pro who has chatted on ESPN has said that Phil Ivey is hands down the best player on the planet......Gordon did say that Negreanu is better at tournaments but not by much........Phil Ivey just made his 4th consecutive final table in a 10k buy in event according to lederer......insane I say......insane.

I saw that! He said he won it (9.3 mill) in 8 hours off the 'Texas Banker'.

Anybody know who that is?
