Yeah I saw a little of that. The chick ended up taking down Chan. In my opinion she was just getting monster cards, but meh.

Ya i think liebert is pretty much a bit**. I hated when she got the time penalty.. her hand was fodled.. and she complained about it for th enext 30 hands. They need a mathematician there to count chips for the all in calls. The best they had was Chan. Evryone else was taking off their shoes to use their toes to count

how did they pick the "superstars". Because i agree greenstein, chan, and possibly leibert (think there are a couple other women better than her, so it depends how many of the other women are in it) are what you could consider a superstar, i dont think moneymaker belongs, because really otehr than winning the WSOP, he hasnt done squat, and i just cant consider a guy who won one tournament to be a superstar all of a sudden, especially with how bad it seems his play has been lately with the times ive seen him on tv

I disagree with you on how moneymaker dosent belong. He has won other tournemnts beside the WSOP. He won a big tourny but I forget the name of it.

I think you have to distinguish between good poker player and and being a superstar......Anna Kournakova is not a good tennis player ( by professional standards) but she is very much a superstar. Basically, you can be a superstar without being great at what you do because you appeal to the public for some other reason than your skills at a particular sport/trade/profession. Is Moneymaker a superstar? absolutely....is he a GREAT player, I doubt it but I would say that he is very good, just not great.

yeah this sounds pretty cool. Who won the first poker superstars? Who is in this one? And is it any better than the first one? I think a superstar is a person that has won tournaments over a period of time and done well over a period of time.
