comparing Rounders and TILT is like comparing Pam Anderson to Marta Stewart or something. TILT is so bad it like watching a car wreck, you don't wanna see them, but when they happen you gotta see how bad they were.

Tilt might be the worst show on TV. Rounders is a classic....the more you watch it, the more you pick up on the subtle details and it becomes that much better.

Rounders is great... the collectors edition has pros talking about poker in the special features. It isnt that helpful, but it's something and it cost the same as the original. I watched the first episode of TILT and wasn't overly impressed. It was watchable, but unrealistic.

wow !! cant believe how many say tilt is not realist. the backroom games. the teams. all very real in the pro games. those guys are not playing for a couple hundred they play for 5k or 10k. i think many dont find it real because they have never seen it or dont want to believe it happens.

as to rounders good movie. shows what a good player can learn from you.(tells) i really like the movie.

Im with river On this one. I like it purely for entertainment value but its not only sponsered by professional sports associations, but also has many real poker players who consult and even appear in it. Of course its not going to be completely realistic. It was created for entertainment. But there are some things realistic on it. The episode where the internet geek was playing and got punked out because he kept tapping his finger like he was clicking a mouse when he had a good hand.....youd better believe that , well maybe not that specific tell, but other countless tells similar are what the pros watch for and will pick up on long before you if you arent self aware enough sitting at the tables with the big boys.

Any habits you have when you have either a good or bad hand can break you in a live game especially playing with your hands face or a very big one is fondling jewelry(twisting rings and grabbing or biting on necklaces)
