Also, in the WSOP, has anyone noticed that they really "follow" a few players that end up doing real well. This year, during all of the main event shows, I kept seeing Greg Raymer. I had never heard of him, but they kept putting him on TV. They also did this with Murphey. Last year, they kept showing Moneymaker throughout the tourney, even though obviously no one knew who he was. And last year, they kept showing Dutch Boyd. ESPN obviously follows around almost every player and whoever ends up preforming well, they show on tv. If Murphey hadn't of been young, he probably would never have been on tv at all. |
