was anyone able to watch the first episode? i loved watching the stud game but was disappointed due to the fact that they only showed 15 hands or so. wish they could have squeezed in more.

I also would have liked to see more hands. It's hard for them to fit more hands when the actual telecast is about 45 minutes with the commercials, and all the player bios they do. I think they should make each special 2 hours long, but not televise all of the tournaments. They can cut down on showing a lot of the limit/no-limit hold em since they will be showing so much footage of the main event. This way, it would give the viewer more of an opportunity to learn about the other games, and see some more strategy behind it.

The stud was new and enjoyable. Only problem was that they arranged the cards in decending order(I think) instead of how they came out. Kind of hard to show a 6 hour tournament(4 hours heads up) in 1 hour.

Did anyone catch the 2004 final table with Fossilman narrarating. Not to knock on the man, but i kind of go the sense that he didn't know what he was talking about. My room mate agrees with me and he is much more knowledgable on poker than me.

Rock on.

Heads up shows are not bad but for 4 hours of it and only being able to show 1 hour is not too good...

Shit, for 5 million, I think I would be too anxious to play. A couple of buddies of mine are playing in 10 person tourney for 1000 buy-in to win seat at WSOP. Wish I could do it but Im only 18. Could use it for something else.
