| | | | The Grinder OWNS I don't know if any of you guys are familiar with this guy. His name is Michael Mizrachi, and his screen name at PokerStars is The Grinder. I've watched the high stakes games at PS for a while (it's a great learning tactic), and he has done well in big buy in tourneys and ring games for quite some time. This guy has been ON FIRE for the last month. Within said month, he has finished 5th in the WPT at Tunica (where Negreanu busted his 88 with 77-he took $290k for that one). Four days later, he made a chop for $90k in the big Sunday tourney at PS. And just last week he WON the WPT in Los Angeles for $1.8 milllion. You'll be seeing this guy on TV in the next few months, and he DESERVES to be there. He's a great player.--Here's a tidbit for all the 'Blackhawxxs' out there. If the tables online are rigged to benefit some some players and not others...does that mean that the WPT tables are too? Simple answer is-NO. Good plyers WIN. Bad players LOSE.

| | | | Were you able to watch him in the WPT? or did you simply find out the results?
When does he play? I'd really like to see him in action and see what he does that makes him just so great.

| | | | I absolutely agree with you. The Grinder is a great player. I dont know if this is one that you mentioned, but I was watching him in a $530 No limit holdem $500,000 guaranteed prize and he kicked but (Chris Moneymaker was in that tourney too just to tell yall). The Grinder won about $130,000 for first place. He is an amazing player. | |

Your proposed law of poker that Good players win and Bad player lose may stand as an irrefutable law of luck. Then again, it might not.

| | | | The Grinder was scheduled to play Tom McEvoy a couple weeks ago on PS. Anyone know how he did? | |

| | | | The Grinder lost his Heads Up mach with Tom McEvoy. The Grinder made a flush on the turn and made a small bet into Tom McEvoy, who had more chips and 2 pair. McEvoy just calls and makes a full house on the river. All the chips go in and the cards are turned over, and The Grinder takes 2nd place (out of 2 lol) | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
