Affleck wins CSPC

Ben Affleck just won the California State Poker Championships. Maybe it's time to give up the acting thing, heh?

I just got linked to that by someone, and appartantly he must know a little something about poker. Rounders 2 featuring Ben Affleck? I think so.

last i knew ben is an avid poker player is he is always plaing in tournaments this is the fires ive heard of him winning one though.....and definately rounders 2 would be a hit

i heard that he plays at full tilt a lot and his name is tryangle but also heard that that is not true and that tryangle is actually gary lent.....Just wish someone would know the truth and what is affleck's screenname on tilt or whichever site he plays on.

I'm surprised, I wouldn't think he'd that good. Wouldn't ti be funny if he won a braclet this year?

I dont know why people are surprised by him being good. I would think he is a smart guy, has lots of money to learn with and plenty of down time between movies. Poker is awesome in that anyone can learn and eventually be good.

Yeah, just becuase he is a good actor, doenst mean he can't act.

Infact that may help with his game. Just as a mathamatical degree or a psychology degree would help too.

I would think that being a profesional actor would be a great help playing poker. He could act strong and weak and come off very believable at it. I heard he had a poker couch too and he has been playing in tournaments lately.
