In last months bluff magazine gus hansen said that although he does travel around, he goes back to denmark on a regular basis. Its pretty easy to understand why top players like himself go where the action is.
As far as i know he represents full tilt exclusively now and has no ties to poker champs
rw - someone posting in an old thread about something which has since passed (eg a THF game or whatever) is obviously not preferred though i disagree that GRanitis's comments were irrelevant - far from it. The original topic was about comments about pokerchamps and his comments will be helpful to some
For a lot of topics, i agree that its important for replies to stay recent etc but we should always allow members to post on topics if it is relevant. Also, it may on occasion start up a good discussion again.
The way i see it is if we don't allow members to reply to old threads and make comments which are relevant etc, then we might as well delete them
I do know where your coming from though. Though i think its only relevant with topics which are specific to a time. For example, we dont want members posting replies to a site announcement 2 years ago about a game which was on 2 years ago...because the game has passed
