Default Won a Tournament (and T$)

Well, for the second time I won entry into a major tournament. This time it is entry into the monthly $500,000 guarentee. The tournament was $5R. I rebought immediatly to get the 3000 chips. I slowly grew that to 4500 and then put that all in trying to bust someone who had been showing down crap hands throughout (Q8s, K4o, etc.) My KQ (which I normally wouldnt push with) lost to his AK and I had to rebuy again, twice (for 3000 more.)

I built that stack continually and then added on, so the tournament cost me $25 in total. The buy-in to the $500K tourney is $500+$30, so I now have $530 T(ournament)$.

I am so split on what to do with these. I can't cash them, but I'd never have to pay for a sit-n-go again with these things Then, there is the option of actually PLAYING the 500k... I can't really imagine playing in a 500 dollar tournament, but for a $90K+ first prize?? Can you imagine winning $90K? I sure as hell can't.

I think it might boil down to how many people are in the final tournament. The satalite that I got my seat from was only 300 people and was $5R and that was a tough win.

The final option is selling the T$ for slightly less than their face value, say, 480-500 real dollars for the 530 T$.

Any ideas?

Your wrong earnstaf...first of all.....congradulations on your win!!...and may you win the big one!

What your wrong on is the using T$ or W$ in SNG's or cash games or any MTT's that do not allow W$ or T$....what you can basically use them on is another 500K or 300k or 250k etc...you can accumulate them and use them when you please, but only in the approved tournaments.

As far as selling them...the only person that would be interested in them is someone that was going to buy-in on one of those final tournaments...then it would depend on how much they could save, but they aren't going to screw around with it to save only $20

Get in the tournament...can't you use $90,000....it will also pay back close to 300 places.

I got 1 W$ leftover, if you want to buy mine...LOL

Well, congrats. CRAPSHOOT is right with the T$. You can just use them in SNGs. Well, I would not be torn between playing in the 500k or something else. I think I would wait for one of the smaller (but still very large) tourneys. The thing is, the smaller ones probably will have more entrants so it would be tougher, but the larger one will have people that definitely dont want to lose. Its a tough choice, but whatever you decide, good luck. I wish I could be in your seat with that decision.

I would use it in the 500k...if you use it in say a 300k then you would have unusable T$ leftover and would not be enough for another tournament and then you would have to wait untill you accumulated more.

As far as difficulty...their both difficult...your chances are going to be equal and probably about the same amount of entries (might be a little less on the 500k). The 500k pays more because the satellites cost more.

WIN $90,000

T$ i believe you can use in any tournament you want, as long as its a tournament you are playing. Therefore, if you dont feel comfortable playing a $500 tourney, spend it on $5, $10 tournies that are on pstars

goblue, that is what I thought as well. W$ are a different story but I was pretty sure T$ could be played on anything that is under the tourney section.

Can you use them for WSOP qualifiers? If so maybe a couple of double shootouts for $160 a pop, then play other sng's. Just an idea. Cause MY dream is to get to the "SERIES" !!

Eh I would gamble with it.. If you can't use it for SNG or cash out..
90K is a lot. and 300th should pay at least $500 right?

Play tight.. and let the pushers go all-in.

I'd save them for SNGs or future tournaments. But then again, 500 grand would be quite nice also. Up to you.
