Default Money Deposits At Poker Stars

I was wondering if anyone has ever had any problems depositing money online for Poker Stars? I am interested in doing so. I would love to play real money tourney but cannot get over fear of giving banking info over internet. Is it totally secure or are there risks

you shouldnt have any problems - pokerstars is a respectable site

ive always used neteller when depositing there but youll be fine using visa, mastercard or whatever

id strongly reccomend getting a www.neteller.com account - as every poker site uses one its just a matter of withdrawing and depositing from your neteller account

I use the firepay system. it takes 2 to 3 working days to get set up, but once you are set up it's smooth sailing. It takes that long for your security, as well as their own. I like it when a site puts the security over the speed. After set up you can transfer money any time in 3 min.

Pokerstars then covers the deposit fees for you so you are just paying for the bank transfer

You can no longer deposit money onto "gaming" sites with VISA. Visa has a policy that prevents it. You will have to get a Net Teller acount or FirePay.

Thanks so far for your input. It sounds like there are not very many problems if any at all. I am just about convinced that it is very safe method to deposit at Poker Stars. Thanks so far. Any more input would be great if someone has something to add.

Its perfectly safe,I saw a review on the site and security was at 100% so I think you should be fine. When you want to cash out they take a small % so that kinda sucks.

i perfer and feel safer with firepay but i have friends that swear by netteller. either i think are quality sites. read up on them and go small to start until you feel safe.

as for the VISA not being used for gambling. you can set up a card for the sole purpose of gambling. you have to contact VISA and they send you paper work to fill out so you can.

at least thats how it was 6-8 months ago. since firepay no need.
