Default cool idea, may or may not work....
I was playing the other day in a 9-person play money tournament on pokerstars, and this guy kept saying for all of us to go all-in, and we will all come in second place except for the person with the winning hand, they will come in first.
Has anyone tried this before?

a)That's real dumb. b)What does it have to do with PLAYING the game? c) That many dumb people shouldn't be at one place unless it's a quarantine d) What does that have to do with PLAYING the game?-and e)Tha's REAL, REAL , REAL dumb.----------Other than those, it sounds like a pretty good idea.

it would probably work accept the ppl who lose are gunna have to split up the winnings which will add up to less than u bought in for so go for it if u want lol.

no - after 1st place the order would go in the people with the most chips before they went all in

so the only hand this could theoretically work would be the first hand

they could get you on that tho if you all agreed to go all in and then u dont becuz i know if ur in a tourny and u agree to chop you sit out right, well if someone starts playin but they already agreed to chop, then they set it back to the last hand plyed b4 u agree to chop.
so they could probably go back and make u go all in. but maybe not i dont know.

If you were to split the money evenly, everyone would get their money back minus what the house takes. The house will be winning along with one other guy at your table.

You are buying a lotto ticket and hoping you are in first place otherwise you will lose money. First place gets the same amount no matter who ties for second. Second places splits a measly check of of less than double the buy in. Split 8 ways you get back less than 1/4 of what you paid to get in. This is a 1 in 9 chance of winning. You will pay about 7 full buy ins plus the rake per 1 win odds say.

So if you want to spend a few bucks on a chance to win...head for the slots or lotto. Thats why there are there...no strategy no thinking just pulling and wishing.
