Sit & Go Tournament Leader Board

Following Full Tilt Pokerstars now also has Sit and Go tournament leader boards. Looks complicated at first and very strange once you understand it.

Do you think this in its current form will have a long life? And does everyone has a chance or is it still the multi multi tablers?

Hard to say the first week. But 20 SNG's doesnt seem like too many to do in a week. I guess we'll see the scores to beat and determine how reasonable they are.

I think it will be different from the MTT board considering they don't take your 20 best, they take your best set of 20 consecutive. Should be interesting.

Early leaderboard shows wins are everything in the single tables... doubtful that "poker talent" will prevail in the $50 and under limits as much as a lenghthy run of luck when playing single tables.

6-handed sngs... you could have a run coming in 2nd place in 20 straight and not hit the top 10.

9-handed... you can hit 18 straight 2nd places with 2 non cashes and won't be on the top of the board.

Top of the boards each week will comes from the 18s and 27s but thats to be expected. At first glance I like the setup.

I play the 1.50 18 plyr SnG's regularly and was happy to see this new Promo. I hope to get a little extra cash out of it. I have to say it won't be easy when I have to get past the first 9 or 10 players that play like this:

How many sitngos does the average person play? How many in aweek? A day? I play about 10 a week I think.

I am not a fan of this new leaderboard because it favors 27 player sngs, i won 11/20 with 4 2nds (6 player turbos) in a block of 20 sngs this weekend and when i go to check the leaderboard im in 53 place and end up finishing somwhere in the hundreds.

Not to me thats a crazy good block of 20, but for the leaderboard you simply cannot win playing 6 or 9 player sngs because the 27 player sngs get you twice as many points.

These types of leaderboard seem to reward quanity of games played not quality of wins, or money made, which in the end is what we are all out to do.

Why should someone get the same points for having to beat half or less than half the players? If that were the case everyone would be playing the 6 or 9 player tables.
