| | | | What happens when you piss of PokerStars? I've been playing online for several years now. I've had the occassion to contest situations on virtually every site. There is only 1 site that has managed to not spend too significant of time trying to mark you with a hidden directory. If you know how to search for these you should. Do it first, when you download, then do it again, after the start-up icon asks if you want an upgrade. Not everyone gets an upgrade at the same time. I have this on-going argument that when a poker site is in a battle with you, and vice-versa, they offer you and upgrade, which I previously snooped out as a hidden directory. When this is present, I learned from Empire, that they mark you as a "problem" player. Don't expect anything good. I tried Poker Stars during a tournament after deleting them from my system. I did ok and made more headway that I expected. The following tournament though, I noted that the same 'straight' appeared, when I went 'All in' on AK, pairing the K's on board. Now, the other fella, of course has A4. It's hard to get that perfect set of 2,3,5, expecially when 2 of them are not on board yet. To my observation, this 'straight' and quite often '4 card flush' on board, happens frequently enough to not be a fluke. So, it is beyond me why a 'problem' player would get worse cards than a 'nicey-nice' player. Poker is poker. It does not matter whether you are good or bad as a human being, it matters how you play the cards. Of course, I expect the usual rhetoric about my play and such, however, I wouldn't be pitching this angle if it weren't so consistent. I found that Empire is more forgiving having played there again. I also found Aces UP to be a very good site. While I pitch other sites when I'm at poker stars and even a few here, I keep my favorite site a secret. At least for now. | |

Um, I'm sorry, but what hidden directory are you talking about? | |

| | | | Blackhawk, have you ever thought of just not playing at PS...instead of blaming them for everything....just quit playing there. | |

| | | | You bad mouth PS so much, why you keep playing there? I've played poker in home games, at casinos, at fire halls, online... and guess what? Bad beats happen everywhere. I've hit one-outers at a casino before (AA to AJ, guy mucked a J, board comes J829J) I've had guys go runner runner straights on me in absurdly dominating positions, guy with for all intents/purposes had no chips, went all in on 25, i have AA, board comes 39Q4A. KK vs. 66, guy rivers a 6 on me. This happens everywhere. Just because we cant see a person dealing, or we cant see it live doesnt mean its fixed/rigged. | |

| | | | I agree with CRAPSHOOT. If you don't like playing at Pokerstars and you just complain about the site and never enjoy playing there. Then why do you play there? Just don't play there anymore and let by gones be by gones. | |

| | | | i'm gonna hafta agree with everyone else that says bad beats happen everywhere. when i'm holding AK off suit and raise an insane amount and a guys calls with 27 suited and at the same time i catch my striaght, he catches his flush, i mean it sucks but i deal with it. its just a bad beat that i have no choice but to live with, i dont blame the site but i do blame the cards | |

| | | | Blackhawk, if you want anyone to believe you (which clearly, no one does) post where the hidden directory is. If 95% of the people here confirm that the directory exists, then maybe, MAYBE, there will be a small amount of credit behind your words. Until then...stop posting these conspiracy theories. No one wants to hear them. | |

| | | | THE POKER SITES ARE NOT RIGGED!!! GET OVER IT. Poker is a game of luck. It is just luck that things happen. You seem very paranoid about this whole rigged sites situation. If you don't like PokerStars then don't play it. I play on PS and I have won 13X the amount I started with so there is nothing rigged unless they want me to win, which I believe to be false since they caught me with 2 accounts I was using in play money tournaments. I think they have labled me as a 'problem player' if there is such a label. And because of this, you would say that PS would not let me win which is the polar opposite of the truth. Maybe its a combination of bad playing on your behalf and good luck of your opponents behalf. Quit you paranoia. | |
