And what do you do when you want to:

1. Appply for a job and get a W-4?

2. Open a bank or brokerage account and get a W-9?

3. Win in a live tourney and must also complete a W-9?

Interesting, Full Tilt requires no ID to deposit and lose money, but if you want it back, you must "prove" who you are? WOW That is why I have liked poker stars, it has always been as east to cash out, as to deposit. I have never sent them any ID of any kind. This situation for you sure sucks, Cowboy. Guilty by supposed association. But, I to think you should just do it, and clear your good name.

Pokerstars can always ask a copy of your ID. Before registering an account everyone has to agree with the Terms of Service. One of the conditions is that you have to send a copy of your ID when requested.
