Default $2 Million PokerStars Turbo Takedown

THF Player of the Year
Have you been looking for a way to put your Frequent Player Points to good use? Well look no more because it’s time to buckle up and put the pedal to the metal with the PokerStars Turbo Takedown. With a total prize pool of $2 Million up for grabs and one in every three players getting paid, this is one tourney you truly cannot afford to miss!

The $2 Million PokerStars Turbo Takedown runs at 14:30 ET on February 17. This no-limit hold’em event has a $2 Million guarantee for your 10,000 FPP entry fee, with a first place prize of $200,000. One out of every three players will walk away with money, so you stand a great chance of turning your FPP credits into real cash. See the payout table below for more details.

If you don’t feel like using that many of your Frequent Player Points, don’t worry. You can qualify for this one-of-a-kind tournament NOW! We’re running satellites to the big one around the clock. You can get into the main event for as little as 10 Frequent Player Points.

How to play in the $2 Million PokerStars Turbo Takedown
  • Download the free PokerStars poker software or, if you already have the PokerStars software, just double-click your desktop icon
  • Either:
  • Register directly with 10,000 Frequent Player Points for the $2 Million Turbo Takedown main event. Simply click “EVENTS” and “SPECIAL” in the PokerStars game lobby
  • Or view the list of satellite tournaments for the $2 Million Turbo Takedown main event and register to play in one of these to win your 10,000 FPP buy-in. You can play in a satellite for as little as 10 FPP credits. Simply go to the PokerStars lobby and click the tabs ‘EVENTS’, then ‘SPECIAL’ and ‘FPP SATELLITES’.

THF Player of the Year
Just looked and the minimum amount of players is 4,001 so that would be 4,001,000 FPP's in the prize pool.

How much is a FPP worth: $215/13,500 FPP = 0.01592592592592592592. Let's round that up to 1 FPP is $0.016.

The prize pool worth in FPP's with 4,001 players would be 4,001,000 x $0.016 = $640,160

With 12,000 players (max) the prize pool would be worth 120,000,000 x $0.016 = $1,920,000

Even with the maximum allowed this tournament would be a good deal.

Buy in is 10,000 FPP x $0,016 = $160. And 4,000th place prize money is $180. If not too many players register this is doable for everyone on this site. With all the satellites towards this event I'm sure a few can make it.

Noticed a 1250fpp qualifier in a couple of days, I might give that a go.

I think I'll use the 250fpp satellites (to the 1250fpp qualifier) as a way to earn some FPPs cheaply

Anyone who wants to practice rebuys cheaply try out the 10 FPP rebuys to the 1250s

I played in the great Tournament but i wasn really succesfull
My finally place was 5500, so not bad but not enough to win money
I won the place in the "Freeroll" via a Satellite with 10 FPP buy in so it was not so bad for me but i think it was possible to come in the money

Greets, Sandro
