It may seem unreal and "gay" when it happens but flopping 7 7 2 when those cards are actually in the deck and have been placed there by a certified random number generator is completely possible. While AA is the best PF hand, the community cards barely worth any less than the hole cards.

poker always has a predetermined winner, it just matters if that players plays their hand out, its just odds and statistics. statistically you have a chance of 1 in 9 (at a nine person table) to win the hand just by odds

While I can't say that pokerstars is 'rigged', I will say my personal opinion:

It SEEMS like they have 'hot seats'-- certain people will be extremely lucky for about 3 hands. I doubt they really do, but it just seems that way very often.

Also:

I think that they force action. The easiest way for them to make money is to rake. If they put good cards out there, people will bet a lot, and thus, the rake will be big. That's how it works, I think! :-)

Angry yes

It is rigged!!! Rigged for action, rigged for dumb playing, and a lot more luck than skill.

Pokerstars is the home of the bad beat, especially in the low ring games. It has been a rumor for quite a while now that Pokerstars intentionally rigs hands so that they make more rake on a particular hand for their profit. It's really unfortunate that they will cheat out of your money like that, but I can say that I wouldn't be surprised if it was rigged. I've been in hands where it is almost impossible where 6 people have something so good - but htey all hit a good piece of the flop and they stay in for maximum profit for POkerstars. I'm sure that they're more careful with not doing that in the higher limits, but I have to see it is a very suspect deal. Dutch Boyd the manager of it ?
