| | | | I qualified and played. Here are my observations and claims. Take them for what you will. Please don't boil my bunny or insult me just because you don't agree. I you want to discredit the article do it with reason, not insult or sarcasm. Thank you.
After pissing off PokerStars over 1 year ago I left the site. I came back to play and made a new id. All was well until I put money in, real money, and had submitted my real name and address. Since that moment, I had good hands for most I've had nothing but bad hands for a fair part of the 1st day, until, I sent an email, asking if I needed to use my real name. Then, boom, every game, and almost every hand is a loser. Loss after loss, and my play, which was good, turned ugly. Here are the outrageous claims I have.
1) Once you have pissed them off by challenging their dealing engine, which puts pairs on board 80% + and makes mystery hands appear from no-where, often enough that I'm not the only observer of that phenomenon who thinks it stinks, I believe they mark you by offering an Update on the software. This produces a hidden directory and you are screwed to lose your money. I have discovered this from Empire as well, having performed the analysis on my computer and having found the hidden directory. When you try to delete and reinstall, the directory is discovered and you're screwed again.
2) Because they are Non-US based, and they have full access to view any table, with full view of all cards, I believe they can alter the flop, turn and river. They don't have to but they can. And I believe some of the hands, where the marked player is involved, evolves around that person's play.
3) I already know you think I'm off on this so don't bother with insults.
4) I believe the rating system counts in two ways:
4a) During Showdowns - PS pauses to compute who the better rating belongs to then determines that if you also have chips, and there is a put-out a player situation, the favor goes to the high stack more often than not. If the ratings are close, and the low stack happens to be low by a previous bad hand, but the person has a good rating, then the engine either does a coin toss for a 50/50 determination of the win, or will favor the low stack to return.
4b) The engine does not randomly set the cards in a showdown. There are too many good starts spoiled by 4 card straights and 4 card flushes to be random.
5) The dealing engine in tournaments sets-up many spoiling hands, with good down cards and flops, but spoils way too often, and gives the pot to the low hand. If you were to see the ratings, you would see the winner had the edge. This is a form of cheating. Biasing the dealer. That's not poker. That's called buggering.

| | | | LIke many players I try and do so by entering those cheap satellites pokerstars offers during the week, and secondly for BLackhawk I hope you arent going around everything and posting that irrelevant BS because people ARE goign to pick up on it and once you get reported, its only going to be downhill from there for you. | |

| | | | blackhawk you need to change your name lol im serious if you ever want to play poker on pokerstars again same thing happened to me at AP i then got banned for life from them and know i want to kill mark seif | |

| | | | Its possible to do Blackhawk a random generator can pick a number (card) in a billionth of a second ... with a marked player it could just pick another number if it was to his advantage and another random generator could determine if it was going to let it happen...in other words so it doesn't happen suspecially 100% of the time.
However I doubt it
1.) It's not to their advantage to bother with petty things like fueds with customers. They have many many customers and to single out one player, I don't care how big the fued was or to single out many players just would not make sence. It does not increase their take and even if it would, why would you risk all the legitimate profits for the word to get out on the site and lose most or all your business.
2.) The software that they run is from an outside source and I am sure that the source code is not open to the site even if they had capable programmers. It would be bad for the software company if the source code was open...their software would then be worth a dime a dozen. Plus if it was tampered with the word would get out that XYZ's souftware cheats and everyone would be looking for sites that does not use XYZ's software.
3.) If a site wanted to cheat why would you worry about individuals or as some have suggested increase the competition on a hand to increase the rake...all they have to do is run a number of bot's and win most of the money in the tournaments...there they could win say $400,000 on a $500,000 tourney and pay out $100,000 to keep some players happy. They could run the bot's in ring games as we'll. I ran a bot for three days, but only in play money games and won 1 million dollars in three days...you should see some of the comments from my opponent's...they could not believe how good of a player I was and I coppied some screen shots of their chat to prove it.
On one site my luck turned sour, and I mentioned it to one of the regular players and he said "did you cash out some of your bank", I told him that I did and he told me that's why and that it happened to him and that his luck did not come back for Two months and he's a daily player.
All in All no matter what, I still do not believe even if they can, that they would cheat...the most important thing to these sites is their reputation...if they lose that they lose all their business and it is all a big business at this time, why would you jepordize it. Because the word would get out, not only from players but from within and that would be disasterous.
jdawg, I just had a big fued with AP, lets see if my luck turn sour.

| | | | Has anyone had the chance to win the sunday tourny...either the 350k or the 500k if so how much of it was luck??? | |
02-23-2005, 02:37 AM
| | | | I won both satellites...but had bad luck in the finals...one 500k game, I was out after 20 hands in the tourney...I lost with pocket KK, QQ, and TT in 3 of the 5 hands that I played. My KK lost to a str8, pocket QQ was against pocket AA and pocket TT was against pocket KK
