Default Finally in the Black

As some of you know I started a little multi-table sng experiment a while back and had it going pretty good. Well I took some time off from it to do another project which I just completed. My Sharkscope as FinK22 was always sad and laughable (heheh). When I 1st started playing I hit a nice sized MTT and started throwing money away playing games I knew nothing about against players who were well beyond me. Until a couple months ago I didn't take sng's seriously, they were something to do for fun, to pass the time. As you can see in the graph provided, I went from $0 to -$1000 in my 1st 50 sngs (oops!) and hit my low point of -$1100 at right around 130 games played. Well, once I started my little experiment and figured out exactly what single table tournys are about, I decided that I wanted to get FinK in the black for the 1st time ever in sngs. At the end of April my Sharkscope showed 700 games played and -400, it was at that point I decided to get rid of the red text... 118 games later and I've finally hit $10 in sng profit (woo-hoo)

I went a little different route than I did on my other account, though I profitted at every stage of my project. I started off multi-ing 4 games... a $5 and a $10 18-mans and a $5 and a $10 27-man and they would always become too much of a crapshoot an hour and a half in for my liking.

Moved on to 5 of the $6 9-man turbos and the play was so awful I couldn't stand it...

Finally landed and finished switching back and forth between $10 and $20 heads up tournys (3 at a time) and 6 tabling 3 of the $13 6-man and 3 of the $16 9-man turbos (btw, some of the "big guns" games are so terrible it's crazy... I'd 10-table with "The_Venetian" on all 10 any day of the week).

Anyhow, just thought I'd share my latest project... I really should stick with it (decent easy money) but I'm sure I'll find something new to switch over to

fink, first off - nice! Second off, I found the same rhythm you did on those $13 and $16 turbos ... and thirdly - I completely agree with The_Venetian, hahahahah, thats so funny that you've seen him too. I multi tabled a few of the $16 turbos and he was in every one and lost each, though apparently he usually shows a profit (look him up on sharkscope), maybe someday we'll both be 6 together, haha, keep it up

Back in the Red
And am stopping where I am for the time being as I came as close to major tilt as I have come in a long time. Played a few 4 man $20 HU tournys (winner take all) making it to the 2nd table 2/3 times and losing to a 2 and 3 outer. Thats fine, it happens.

Played 3 of the $16/9s and 3 of the $13/6s and showed a loss cashing in one and losing on the bubble to 2 outers (3) and a 3 outer on 4 of the other 5.

Moved up to 3 of the $25 6-mans and managed to lose in all 3 of them with AA... to TT (all in pre = river 10), 22 (he pushed all in on the 9 7 4 flop and rivered the 2) and A9 of clubs (all in pre = flopped the flush).

Dropped back down to 4 of the $16/9s, lost with AA twice (strange enough, to 22 and A9 of hearts with a river 2 and a flopped heart flush), flopped the nut flush and got rivered by a boat and lastly QQ to KQ (all in pre) when we saw a AKQ flop and he turned his other K.

Saw myself seriously looking at the $210 4 man heads up lobby with my mouse on the "register" button when I came to my senses. My stats can stay in the red for a bit Cashed out $800 leaving myself with $400 and change... time to have fun in some low limit MTTs and 8 tabling the $5 9-mans for awhile again
