As some of you know I started a little multi-table sng experiment a while back and had it going pretty good. Well I took some time off from it to do another project which I just completed. My Sharkscope as FinK22 was always sad and laughable (heheh). When I 1st started playing I hit a nice sized MTT and started throwing money away playing games I knew nothing about against players who were well beyond me. Until a couple months ago I didn't take sng's seriously, they were something to do for fun, to pass the time. As you can see in the graph provided, I went from $0 to -$1000 in my 1st 50 sngs (oops!) and hit my low point of -$1100 at right around 130 games played. Well, once I started my little experiment and figured out exactly what single table tournys are about, I decided that I wanted to get FinK in the black for the 1st time ever in sngs. At the end of April my Sharkscope showed 700 games played and
-400, it was at that point I decided to get rid of the red text... 118 games later and I've finally hit $10 in sng profit (woo-hoo)
I went a little different route than I did on my other account, though I profitted at every stage of my project. I started off multi-ing 4 games... a $5 and a $10 18-mans and a $5 and a $10 27-man and they would always become too much of a crapshoot an hour and a half in for my liking.
Moved on to 5 of the $6 9-man turbos and the play was so awful I couldn't stand it...
Finally landed and finished switching back and forth between $10 and $20 heads up tournys (3 at a time) and 6 tabling 3 of the $13 6-man and 3 of the $16 9-man turbos (btw, some of the "big guns" games are so terrible it's crazy... I'd 10-table with "The_Venetian" on all 10 any day of the week).
Anyhow, just thought I'd share my latest project... I really should stick with it (decent easy money) but I'm sure I'll find something new to switch over to
