After a long run of bad cards you finally get something to play.It doesnt matter which premium hand you are holding how much you bet or which position you are in,it gets beat.
Im not bitching,Im actually just curious to see if anyone else has this happen, its something I usally try to avoid but sometimes its just too tempting.

Absolutely, that is why I very rarely complain about bad cards. Bad cards keep you alive in tournys... while it may not be much fun to get dealt that J3, 94 or 82 how often do you bust out with those hands? After an hour of bad starting hands you can smile and say "About damn time" when dealt that KK if you like, I tend to say "Well this tourny was fun while it lasted".

Thats why I dont believe there are donks, just people playing poker trying to make something happen. Its difficult to read a J3 or a Q9.Especially if they raise with it,the first thing that is in everyones mind is AK or PP.

Yeah, term "donkey" is way too loosely used. Funniest is at 1000/2000 when SS UTG pushes all in with his Q7 for all of his 3x BB stack, gets called by AA, hits his 3456 board and gets called a donkey by Mr. AA

For those players... please tell me exactly how it is still "unreal" when it's something you see multiple times every single day? Shock value should have worn off by now.

Losing sucks. I don't care what it's called. I simply hate to lose!

you all mkae good points. occasionlly i get a little mad at bad plays but your right, you see it so much it tends to wear off.

i agree with you too xtra, if im on a bad run, my good hands get busted. even if i go allin with AA, raise 4x the BB, limp in, get 1-5 callers, always loses, i guess thats the definition of a bad run though, LOL

I had it in the second stars league. I was dealing with crap cards and was fighting to final table and down to final 4. I push in with KK and i get outdrawn by Q6, river striahgt with the 6. Not a bad call as i was like 3 BBs, but it was just awful.

Im smack dab in the middle of one of those runs now. If it doesnt stop soon Ill be back to the felt. Seems like I flop top 2 pair, and the guy turns a better 2 pair, or my trips get busted by runner runner. Nothing is holding up.....

Ive won with enough hands like that to know better by now.As irritating as it may be from time to time,I always know Ive done it to someone else before

Playing $20 180 man last night,I seen a guy play almost every hand and he sucked out nasty as he went to chipleader of 15,000.

With 50 to go he got caught twice by better hands ,sucked out on once and he whined and bitched relentlessy. He tried bluffing after that and was out,but whined about how could you call with that?

He continued as an observer for a few minutes calling us all donks and unworthy of his company at the table.

The true meaning of the word loser,no class.
