Angry AA is best against heads up

It might seem like your opponents keep flopping a set on the flop but my overall experience is if you play a full table and fail to raise pre-flop with AA you set yourself up to a losing showdown, since some one is bound to get 2 pair or a flush draw with a cheap flop.

I wouldn't bet you last dollar on that, because if another player has 2 overcards against you, they have a 6 (remaining high cards chances) out of 48 chance of hitting a higher pair than you. Then multiply that by 3 to get a proper flop statistic on them flopping that bigger pair then you, let alone the 2 remaining cards to come.

I know that AA is crackable, but the most frustrating turn of events happend to me when I was playing on a 5/10 limit table on PS. It was a 4 handed game and I got AA three times within 30 min. I LOST ALL 3 TIMES TO THE SAME PLAYER. I almost threw my monitor out the window. Also dont even think I was slowplaying them either I was raising preflop and betting out postflop and the guy would call me down. Once he hit trip 6s another time he called me down and hit a gutshot on the river, the last time he hit some garbage 2 pair like J 7. On top of all that the last hand that I got before I left the table was AK hit a A on the flop(didnt slow play this either) and the same guy beat me hitting his straight on the river.

Bottom line PS rewards bad players.

I prefer tournament, but you have to out play a lot more people to get in the $. Cash games are ok as long as you stay solid

I agree with Matro - If the board pairs up you're inviting trips by blindly calling. It just doesn't make sence to call every bet only because you have AA.

Angry

Most of the players on pokerstars overplay their aces because they think they will always win with them, and most of the people that play on pokerstars are bad players. I was at a 100/200 table and had AA... i raised to 6k and got two callers... one guy i figured out had 8s. The flop comes 7 3 7. Beutiful flop. Guy with 8s checks. 2nd guy bets. i raise all in tryin to protect against the flush. They both call. I had about 45k chips, but 2nd position had about 200k. Turn and river dont improve my hand or guy with 8s. I come to find out that the 2nd position had 7 3 offsuit. 7 3 OFFSUIT! I was extremely upset that most of my new bankroll was just stolen from me with a 7 3 os.
