Wow ! ididnt know Pokerstars raised the prize pool to $500 dollars !! its a about time because I gave up playing the freerolls due to the high level of difficulty and the low chance of winning any money.

has anyone here ever won a poker stars freeroll before?

People are angry at PokerStars for requiring one to get lucky in 2 tournaments (I dislike big giant multitables simply because as time goes on chips start to lessen in value and those who play well but have not gotten the right cards cannot accurately place, hence the word lucky) and then having a crappy payout, but keep in mind that no poker site is obligated to hold freerolls or any method of obtaining money for free.

Well sure, they're not obligated, but this is simply a matter of market competition. If they dropped their monetary payout freerolls, they'd lose a lot of business to the next online poker place which is just waiting for more customers. People playing freerolls and winning is just another way to get more people to bet real money and get rakes.

you have to understand they dont have to pay anything, they are paying out of their own pocket to give you money when you gave them nothing, If they give you 2 dollars for winning a freeroll you should be happy!
