Lost the other night... preflop raised AA behind the button and got called by the big blind 6-2 offsuit...hit 6-2 in the flop. ARGHHHH! Bad beat but moved on and one the rest of the night

definatly true.. don't really matter what site your playing at, or on a real table, poker is still poker. What gives you the odds is how you play your starting hands. You gonna risk it all on AA? you better put enough out thier to scare away those chasers, otherwise you may find yourself in a bind once the flop comes down. I've called raises with 7-2os and I've hit boats with them. They say thats the worst poker hand possible, perhaps it was the worst for someone else that time. In short if you want better odds your gonna have to push some people out, and hope no one caught a hand before you did.

I think u are just unbelievebly lucky. But I have to say, it seems that whenever you go all in with a better hand then the other person they always catch a winning card (mainly with draws). However, I seem to win everytime I have J-9 suited.

Is it just me, or is this some of the dumbest stuff anyone's ever seen?10 Q 18 times in a row? I doubt it. In fact, I'd make a sizeable wager AGAINST that being true. Luck definitely plays a part in the game, but NOT so much a part that it is vital in order to win. Anyone who thinks otherwise is cordially invited to my Tuesday night game. Perhaps a few of you would prefer Baccarat, or maybe just plain old coin-flipping for money. To those that know better-this ain't for you.

no coin flips for me!! i never win them.

where i agree this may sound silly, i have seen people go on incredible runs in blackjack or craps. why not poker? if you start to win with Q 10 you become more confident with that hand. you start to play it agressively. start throwing 3X bets out for that hand and i could see how he could win with those. odds dictate sooner or later he will play them against someone who has a better hand and isnt afraid to play it. where this sounds silly in the right situations i can see it happening.

id say that theory is ludacris, u just got lucky, i would sya since this game is really and online gambling site it has to be regulated and if it were to not be random and there was a golden hand then i think the site would get shut down dam fast by whoever governs online gambling
