i was thinking of running a large play money tournament at pokerroom
however, i know that freerolls and such attract a lot of idiots to the site....whats the pass, wheres the freeroll, give me the pass and so on

That sounds like fun Fonz, but we would have to have restrictions, i.e. a post count or maybe only approved members because that would potentially bring in a lot of idiots, especially if a prize is announced for it or a website is provided at PokerRoom.

on closer inspection, its only ring games and not tournaments you can setup with play money at pokerroom.

oh and dont worry, we wont want the idiots back - lol

Maybe its time to start rewarding members for becoming approved. Maybe an approved members game or contest. Im not sure how many approved members have, but as of right now there isnt much incentive to become approved.

Well having a post requirement would only be a repeat of February and cause a ton of spamming. The only way I can figure out a way around this is to have a restricted tournament to members here. That way noone can enter besides those in. The only downside of that is that there will be a lot of sitters.. Perhaps a turbo like we did before? Which-ever way it may go, i'm still going with the idea of a restricted tournament so noone who we dont want in cant get in.
