Default 2.25 rebuy 12/29/05

Just finished in 3rd place. $125 for a free buy-in and 2.25 for the add-on. Should have done better, had a 4 to 1 chip lead at the final table and let a stupid comment about me bullying the table change my game. Next time I'm turning the chat off.

Don't worry about what they say, I'm dominating a satellite to the 100k on Absolute and they're all pissed but I say beat me and they can't! Dominate the table and don't listen to anything, or let anything get to you.

Thanks y'all. Personally, I don't think I was bullying anyway. I was just following a little of Phil Gordon's advice from his THF interview about not limping in and it worked. Most of my bets at the beginning of the final table were just 3x the BB eventhough I had a 2-3 to 1 chip lead most of the time.

I tried chatting you up on the first table when the tourney began. You wouldn't talk to old Elvis. I was congratulating you for knocking out the idiot that went all in every hand, who would lose, then rebuy. The donkey must have performed seven rebuys at least. When I saw the pre flop confrontation on that hand after the break, I knew you had AA. I had Donkey on QQ or KK, and damned if I wasn't right.

That tournament is really a grind. I have found that I make more $$ per hour playing sit and gos than I do those rebuy tourneys. The $200 win I had in that tourney a couple of weeks ago was a nice boost to the bankroll, but the last time I played an MTT for five hours I won over $1,000. That was kind of the letdown for me, I suppose, and why I won't play them again.

I wasn't ignoring you. The chat interface actually sucks imo. I didn't realize you have to click in the chat line after clicking to bet. I was actually talking to you, just no words were coming across.

and yah, that guy was an ass. I was getting tired of his all-in crap. That was the first time on Shootout that I actually enjoyed the site. Every other time there, I get crap cards or crap flops. I'm doing my last invitational ticket this afternoon. We'll see how that goes. I still have about 8 of those other tickets and will probably use them over the next week.
