Suggestions For the Wed Night PokerShootout Games

Allright there are a few things we can do for these games and I want your input. Remember there is a $100 added to the pot, but it wont show up on the tourny info, it will be transfered to the winner based on payout percentages. Also, he has increased the bounty on "2 Nutz x" to two $22 tournament tickets.

So heres our options

Game - Im assuming NL Texas Holdem but here are the choices.

Holdem
7Stud
7Stud HiLo
Omaha
Omaha HiLo
Five Card Draw

Limit - Again Im assuming NL
Fixed
PL
NL

Players per table - I think this is where we could mix it up each week.
10 - Normal
5 - Short Handed
2 - Heads Up

Blind Level - This could be changed up too.
Turbo
Normal
Slow

Payout Structure - Which one would you guys like
Winner Takes All - self explanatory
Steep - Less Winners, but bigger prizes
Normal - Self Explanatory
Flat - More payouts, smaller prizes.

Rebuys? Im assuming no.

So if you guys have any preferences on those options, let me know soon so I can get things arranged.

i don't intend playing in many of the wed games. However i do feel that 10 min blinds are not long enough.

payout wise i think that winner takes all is less interesting than the others (any of which are fine) - When there is money added it is good to spread the love a little bit

Game wise i think holdem is king just now - i would prefer PLO tourneys but not sure you will get sufficient interest

There are other options possibly - e.g. shootouts or other formats(that needs LOTS of interest to work though) - although i am not sure if they are as easy to arrange though

10pm time slot Im in every week

Turnout will be best with NL, normal payouts but I am up for any game.

Heres what I was thinking

NL Holdem, Normal Payouts, Slow Blinds.

Then if we start getting enough people we can use the flat payout structure to award more places.

Also, If anyones interested we could make one of the weeks a heads up tourny with normal blinds (so it dont take forever).

ill b playin there in a few weeks as soon as i get my br back up..... im down for anygame, 5 card draw sounds fun cuz most sites dont offer it and thats how every1 starts playin poker.

OK professor i voted. Just a suggestion , seeing its a late game anyway,I dont feel there is a need for slow blinds. The game should progress as normal with normal blinds. But just my opinion. And yes, NLHE, 10 man tables, and a flat payout structure. The more you can spread the money around the better it is.

I voted for stud hi/low and omaha hi/low. These are 2 games that I enjoy playing as a nice change of pace from the every day grind of n/l holdem. Its surprising how many people are somewhat clueless when playing these 2 games but that's alright by me.... With that said I am looking forward to playing any games that the leaders choose for the 10pm time slot...good luck all
