Default Join a THF Team at PokerRoom

PokerRoom have added a fantastic new option where players can group together in teams and challenge other teams

There is a miniumum of 5 players and a maxiumum of 10 players.

I think we could get a few teams together and have our own THF league there. For example, the THF Warriors vs THF Maniacs or whatever

They have a good system for sharing wins and losses

Quote:
To be able enter Team Leagues & Eliminators; the team needs access to funds. These funds are provided by team members transferring money from their regular PokerRoom.com accounts into a mutual Team Wallet.

Each player’s share of the Team Wallet’s total assets stands in direct correlation to the percentage of Team Wallet total they have contributed by either depositing funds or by taking part in winning leagues and eliminators.

Neither a player nor the Team Manager can in any way withdraw a larger share from the Team Wallet than he or she owns.

When players sign-up to represent the team in Team Leagues & Eliminators, they also agree to pay their share of the event’s buy-in.
The decision to registering for a Team Event is always taken by the Team Manager. But he can not make that decision until the required number of players for that event has signed-up for duty. A Team Manager who does not wish to play can still register the team if enough players have signed-up. Players are responsible for signing up for suggested events, but not until the Team Manager actually decides to buy-in will any funds be withdrawn.

If a Team places in the money in a Team Event, the Team will receive prize money dependant on the prize structure of that event. Once the buy-in has been covered for all participating players, the remaining prize money will be split amongst them based on the players’ share of the wallet.
So, a player with a larger share of the Team Wallet will in fact receive more in prize money than someone with a smaller share. However, they will all see the value of their shares of the Team Wallet rise with an EQUAL percentage.
Some events may also include individual round based bonuses for exceptionally successful players.

This system rewards long-standing, loyal and successful members of teams since only through participating in winning events can you pump your wallet ownership passed 20%.
20% is the maximum percentage of a Team Wallet you can own by transferring money into it. This restriction prevents teams from being too segregated regarding ownership percentages.

If you arent a member there as yet please support the site and sign up here. Im trying to bring some money to the site from pokerroom in the hope of adding a pokerroom league in the future (A private THF League).

In the meantime i think members who are interested in this should post their username so we can organise teams

Only post your username if you are seriously interested in this. If we get some team games arranged and there are players in teams who arent making the games then i believe they should be dropped....and i include myself in that.

Ive created a team called Team THF.

However, depending on how many other members are interested in this we could get 4 or more teams set up.

Im gonna set up the team i created so that everyone is a moderator

Have a look on the site and see if you like the setup. As i said, its just starting so it may be a while til it takes off. However, it looks good and we could plan some fun games with it

I would and will definitely be interested in this, but first I have to build my tiny little bankroll at PokerRoom. First of all, how much do you think each individual on a team will place in the Team Wallet?

it really depends on what teammates decide and what you all decide to put in
it also depends on what team games you guys decide to play in

if we got say 15 players we could have 3 teams of 5
it hasnt really kicked off there as quickly as i would have liked but it would be cool for us to enter a team in a game...even if its just one team
