I made my first deposit at Poker Room. It was only $25, with a $5 bonus. They also gave me a ticket for a $2 tourney that started at 10am EST today. It was really like a invite only freeroll for new depositors, but the prize pool was based on how many players entered. There were 70 and the site added $100 so the prize pool was $240 and paid the top 10. I am happy to say I came in 6th and won $13.50, just for making a deposit. I did manage to lose $10 at a couple ring games, but against better advise and judgement I made $4 of it back at the blackjack table (I just wanted to try it). So I am up $7.50 and need to play better at the ring games to make my additional $5 in bonus money.
Poker Room has been my curse. I started off pretty good here and then boom, I have had such a streak of bad luck. I busted out here and almost lost everything at Stars.

Just take it slow. I was used to the play at Poker Stars and it is different at Poker Room. Although I started great with the Freeroll, I could not adjust fast enough and was busted before I knew it.
