not a patch on yorkshire pies or haggis!

ive only been to holland once but i enjoyed it. We were only in amsterdam though - id love to do a tour round europe in a few years and see a few more places.
The buildings theyre are very cool. All the buildings in amsterdam are slanty (well in the city centre). Anyone whose been there will know how small and dangerous most stairs are in the old buildings. Because the stairs were so narrow they couldnt get furniture up them so hooks were placed on the top of buildings to boost them up via ropes etc. Which is why the buildings ended up slanty.
(Is this all true?....well i think so. We asked a few people when we were there why the buildings were leaning and 2 different people told us that. Sounds very plausible

)
this pic shows you what im talking about with the buildings having hooks
right kids, that concludes todays lesson!
