Default The Nov/Dec MTT Winners explosion.

Man, I was just checking the MTT winners board for Nov/Dec and I have to say that its pretty damn impressive. I dont think Ive ever seen so many THF members winning big. This forum must be helping a lot of players. And its not just players like Fink, Billyboy, Crapshoot, etc. anymore. Ive hit my biggest one to date. Kikolo had a couple of big ones. theriha, dscott, eman, and others are also tearing up the board. (Sorry, I know I left some of you off of there but I dont have time to list them all).

I think we are really starting to get some dam good players here, and I think with time we will see some more of our regular members hitting big ones. I would like to thank THF again, if it wasnt for this site Id still be playing play money.

I think its awesome how well THF'ers are doing. Keep up the good work guys, and please "Stay off of my tables". LOL.

i think the 180 player $22 sng's certainly count. although they are not listed on thepokerdb (which is overrated anyway), you do recieve TLB points for them, which i think definitely makes them a MTT in my book. if you check the nov/dec listings, most of my entries are from these damn things (i am still a little bitter that i made it deep almost a dozen times and never finished above 7th). anyway, they are fairly competitive tournaments, and should definitely be counted as MTT's

This forum is an endless information resource. I've been reading the forums for many months now and players like Fink, Elvis, Crapshoot are all experiecned and very knowledgable with odds, and other areas of the game. Some of the best threads have been heated debates on making the correct call. Most of the thread is over my head because half of it is in decimal form and I don't know the game well enough to dive into the deepst odds.

The forums has been a great place for me to start playing online again, I get to watch fink actually playing and learn from him. I've played numerous tournaments with PokerRef and Cali. I plan to catch a few THF games soon because the level of play is so good here. To achieve any success you must then bring your level of play up. The best part about having this little community is that each person helps one another. Someone will kick your butt all over the table and then discuss the plays on here afterwards. You cannot put a price on that kind of information, that in itself speeds up the learning curve exponentially.

homeville...I was condidering anything listed as a Sng as a SnG not a MTT...I noticed the $20 180 man listed under MTT, however no matter how it is listed...it will be considered a MTT.

Professor...wait till 2006, I don't think you have seen anything yet.

As for new members, don't fear the THF tournies...you should be more willing to play in these than in normal site tournies...there is realitivly no abuse, and very little suck outs and bad beats...it is here where you will truly learn the game and have a fair chance of winning....playing one month is THF tournies is worth playing a year of regular tournies at a normal site.

We're counting the Poker Shootout $2.25 rebuy tourney at an MTT, and it never has more than 75 players. So I think the multi-table SNG's should definitely count.

By the way, thePokerdb site is supposedly going to be adding MTT SNG's at some point. But they're going subscription, which means I won't be going to that site anymore. I'm still trying to figure how they're mining this data...
