Default Gotten my confidence back!

Well, after the bad streak from hell, im finally starting to play good agian. In the last week I finished 3rd in a $10MTT and just won a $2+R tourney. I made $800 and $300 respectively. Ever since about a week ago, Ive started trusting my reads again, and they seem to be right. Like tonight I called people down with 2nd pair a couple of times because I knew I had them, and took down some big pots because of it. And quite a few times I laid down a pretty good hand because I just knew I was beat. It feels great when everytime the cards get flipped over your ahead. And other than this one guy tonight, who keep sucking out on me when I had him dominated, I won most of the time when I was ahead.

So within the last week Im up $1100. That makes my total profits so far just over $2000, off a $2 freeroll win. Love it.

I played probably the best poker of my life tonight. But I damned near fell asleep. I had no idea a 56-player tourney would take over four hours. Damned good thing I can say I made $50 an hour tonight. Anyway, my play in MTT's has vastly improved because of the two Harrington volumes on the subject. I highly recommend those books to beginners like myself getting into MTT's.

That was a hell of a game you played Elvis. After the rebuy period you only had 5,500 chips. And just before the final table you had like 6000. Then next thing I know I look over and you have 30-40K and in 2nd place. You were patient and made the right moves. Even at the final table I was impressed. Way to go.

Can you link me to the book on Amazon? I'm looking for something on MTT NL Hold Em tourneys, I finished SuperSystem and Hold Em for Advanced Players by David Slansky.
