yeah, yeah, i know he had 14 outs on the turn, and it was only $14 more to call at that point, but he should never have even seen the flop, let alone the turn or river. you can say "oh, you want him to play like that, because you will win in the long run, and he will lose", but you know what, i've been playing at pokerstars for months, and its the same old shit over and over again. the morons get rewarded every time, and i'm sick of it...this was the last straw, and i will be playing elsewhere...good luck!

I stopped playing at poker stars a couple months back now myself for similar situations. I made a post concerning stars somewhere on here a while back as well. I've really focused on playing at full tilt lately, and I love it. I have more success and I'm a lot more profitable. But I'm a mtt player, so my wish would be some other site that could equal the variety and numerous mtts that stars offers. But until I find such a site I feel comfortable at, I'm sticking with full tilt. ( I'm not a full tilt employee, by the way )

You didn't have enough cash in the ring to take away the proper odds for your opponent to call. But that doesn't matter, he would have called anyway. What amazes me is how many callers you got pre flop with that size bet. Stars is getting looser all of the time. Of course, this is the very reason many people like it. And you also were holding KK, a very marginal hand, as we have heard Crap Shoot tell it.

You'll want a call here everytime, but next time when you re raise make it a proper re raise.

Wow, I cant beleive he called the preflop bet with QJ. Thats crazy. On the flop I can see him betting the $10 to see where he stands, and I can see him calling the reraise since it wasnt big enough to get him off the pot. His call on the turn to me is questionable. He has to wonder if you have AJ which takes some of his outs and leaves him with 12, but he should be concerened that if he does make his flush you could have a better one, which takes even more outs away.
At this point I would have either put you on AA, KK, QQ, or AKs or AJ(not as likely). So if you had one of the pocket pairs with one spade then my outs are down to 5. Or if you have the AK of spades then Im drawing dead. Im really not thinking at this point you would have AJ, but its a possibility and probably leaves me the most outs, but I think it would be the least likely hand for you to play. So even though the pot odds were good I dont think I can call here, cause if you have even one spade, then Im not getting the proper odds.

Cant blame him for calling preflop... QJ is not a terrible hand (plenty of potential) and it cost him $4 to get into a $20 preflop pot with no chance of a raise behind him.

It isn't PokerStars that is killing you, it is the terrible players.

Bad Players don't think like that. This how they think " Wow i have a pair and even though this guy is betting real big at me i will call because i CAN'T let him bluff me+i will catch another J anyway because that happened once before"

The pot was laying him almost 4 to 1 and he was the last one in. He had at least three opponents, so I don't see it as a bad call. Kind of a loose play, and after having played with some of you guys, I don't see the problem here.

After looking it over again I dont even see it as being a bad play by him in any way shape or form... maybe he is an "idiot newbie" but Im trying to figure out if I would have played it much differently in his position. $4 to get into a $20 pot preflop with QJ -- I can make that call. Flop top pair so I lead out with a half pot bet (seems about right) which is raised the minimum... does you raise mean that I am in fact beat? This time yes but who is to say you didnt have AK and are making a move or TT and trying to find out if I actually hit the J? Regardless it is now $10 for me to call a $50 pot and I have top pair, a call isn't a horrible play here by any means (THIS TIME it is the wrong play as you have me beat but how can I know that for certain?). The turn shows no A or K and gives me 4 to a flush and you move in for your last $14... I still have top pair (and just hit my 4th spade) so I can either call $14 into a $74 pot with top pair and a flush draw with no chance of having to put any more $$$ in after the river or I can fold -- I would say calling here is definately the correct play.

Yes he got lucky and beat you on the river but I don't see him playing the hand badly... he could easily be someone who knows exactly what he is doing as opposed to being another "idiot".
