My Email To Pokerroom.com Regarding Limit SNG's

Dear Poker Room Support,

During EVERY limit SNG there are at least 2 or 3 people who think they have signed up for a no limit SNG. They tend to want to get out fast when they realize their error and then they just cap every hand with raises until they're gone, which skews the results in favor of people who draw good cards early. On occasion these maniacs get lucky and win a few very large pots and then they just sit out until the thing is over and they tend to get in the money when this happens -- they survive the severity of the blinds quite easily.

As a customer I ask that you please make the software alert the players that what they are entering is NOT A NO-LIMIT SNG. I love that you guys have limit SNG's because not many sites have them. But the way it is set up is unfair to people who truly love limit Hold'em.

Does PokerRoom happen to hold a good number of ($5-$10) limit MTTs? That is my one large beef with Stars is that the limit MTTs are few and far between.

PokerRoom has very few, if any at all, limit MTTs. Currently, they have none listed, either registering, playing, completed, or announced.

Oh, and Fink. I remember about a month ago you saying something along the lines of "I hate limit tournaments." I guess a win in an MTT will make you love any style of game.

Yeah Kik, I hated limit tournys until figured out how to play them

It takes a while for the limit SNG's to fill up. They are not very popular, but when I get in one I almost always at least finish third. The limit play overall on Poker Room tends toward the weak side at the lower limits up to 2/4. The only limit MTT they have is through the collection of players points. There are no buy-in limit MTT's. In a three or four day period you have to collect a certain amount of points to claim a ticket. Other than that, that's it.

That sucks, though I have finally found a site that holds 10 ($5 or $10) limit MTTs daily. Waiting for Fonz to contact them and put up a link before I post details on the site though.
