Default What are the odd.

What are the odds of geting a flush on the TURN and RIVER if I have two in my hand and two on the flop? That is to say, I have say 4 clubs with to cards to come. I come up with 41 percent...do you agree?

With two cards to come you have 35% of hitting

one card to come, you have about 20%

Unless you do the probobility method, in which case your odds will be a little lower, but I dont use those

With two cards to come you have about a 35% of making your flush. If you miss on the turn you have about 19% chance to make the flush on the river.

Hey Dre here is the easy method i use for percentages on the turn and river. It's not exact but pretty close.

For the turn = multiply the # of outs x 4
(ex. for 4 to a flush you have 9 outs. 9 x 4 = 36%)

For the river = multiply the # of outs x 2
(ex. for 4 to a flush you have 9 outs. 9 x 2 = 18%)

If you take the square root of the mean, divide that by pie, multiply the results by x and convert it to a whole number...or say WTF let's gamble!

Hey BSquad-
That little formula you posted is genius in it's simplicity...and remarkably close statistically...I thought about it a little bit, and except for the few percentage points that it may be off on the turn or river, it certainly gets you close enough to make a decision.
For those of us who don't hold quantum physics degrees this is going to come in handy...thanks for sharing
