This will be my 2nd time typing this, first time I'm typing it on Microsoft Word and my computer freezes and I get a popup that say something about Your computer is dangerously low in resources, and it crashed. Now everytime I try open Microsoft Word it does that...
Okay back to the real topic, this will be a little shorter because it's 3am and I don't want to write all of that again...
I think what we need is a nightly tournament like the Malamoney tourneys. The forum has been slowing down lately and even when new members join it seems like they never post. If we run a nightly tournament we would need some of the regulars to play so we could get this thing going. One of the main things that attracts players to a private tourney is other players! When you go to join a private tourney you don't go to the one thta has 5 people in it, you go to the one that has 20+ players because you could just do a SnG if you wanted 5-20 players. Another thing that will help attract players is a bounty, we could put a $5 or $10 bounty on someone each night as another incentive to join the tourney (and forum). I think we should leave the password in the lobby, because then players can just sign up for the tourney and come back to the forum later. When Gank (Brett Junglbut) ran his tourneys the main reason everyone played was because there was a Pro playing and he offered a free t-shirt to the winner. We could have both of those things covered, the pro (Me)
and a promotion, the bounty or other gift like an Ace10 hat or something? Maybe we could have the winner of each tournament go into a drawing at the end of the week for an Ace10 item?
